Finish |
|
Arbor's
finishing system has enriched sealer and top coasts providing a
furniture-like luster that shines deep from within the wood. Cabinet
components are hand sanded to prepare the surface for staining. Hand
rubs the stain to enhance the natural wood grain. Three coasts of
finish, including two coats of high moisture resistant sealers and one
top coat of high molecular weight synthetic result in a durable finish.
Natural finishes receive two coats of sealer and one top coat. |

Face Frames |
|
1 3/4" x 3/4"
thick kiln-dried solid wood stile and rail members. The center stiles
are 3 1/4" x 3/4" thick solid wood. All face frame joints are precisely
aligned with blind Mortise and Tenon, glued at all joints. |

|
Side Panels |
|
1/2" thick
plywood with unfinished exterior and wood or wood grain laminate
interior resistant to household chemicals. Side panels are machine to
accept tops, bottoms, and shelves. Optional Matching Finished Ends are
available. |

Tops and Bottoms
|
|
Wall cabinet
tops and bottoms and base cabinet bottoms are 1/2" plywood laminated
with wood or wood grain laminate. Dado joints, are used to attach the
top and bottom into face frames and side panels. |

Backs
|
|
All backs are
1/8" plywood laminated on the interior side. Wall cabinet backs are
reinforced with 1 1/2" x 3/4" thick solid wood hanging rails at the top
and bottom. Wall cabinet backs are recessed and inserted into dadoed
side panels. Base cabinet backs are attached in the same manner. |

Shelves
|
|
All wall
cabinets have adjustable shelves made of 5/8" or 3/4" laminated plywood.
The shelves are laminated with a wood or wood grain laminate which is
resistant to water and household chemicals. The front edge of the shelf
is banded with wood grain edgebanding. The cabinet sides are drilled for
shelf supports which are adjustable at 2 1/2" increments. All base
cabinets have adjustable 5/8" or 3/4" plywood shelves. The shelves are
full depth and laminated with a wood or wood grain laminate. The front
edge is banded with a wood grain edgebanding. |

Base Toe Kick
|
|
The toe kick
for base, vanity, pantry and oven cabinets is 1/4" x 4 1/2" finished
plywood. Toe kicks have rodent proof captive construction. |

Drawer Fronts |
|
3/4" thick
kiln-dried finished solid wood or wood veneered drawer front matches
cabinet doors style. |

|
|
Drawers
|
|
Drawer sides,
back and sub-front are 1/2" or 3/4" solid wood in natural finish with
dovetail or screwed construction. The drawer box is in full depth and
screwed to the drawer front. The drwer bottoms are 3/16" plywood
laminated inside in natural finish and dadoed into drawer and backs |

Drawer Slides
|
|
Drawers have
under or side mount epoxy coated captive slides that provide smooth,
easy operation. The slide has positive stop opening and shelf-closing
features. Drawer slides are fitted into a bracket mounted to the back
panel. The bracket allows horizontal shelf drawer adjustability. |
